Current Bulletins:
WORSHIP BAND
The Worship Band plays for contemporary services at OSLC each Sunday morning at 9:45, as well as on Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday. They play a variety of current worship songs. Practices are on Sunday mornings before the services.
ADULT CHOIR
The adult choir leads the congregation in liturgy and provides choral pieces typically during offering. You will find them at various traditional services between September and June. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm.
RING FOR JOY
Ring for Joy is our hand bell choir. They play with four and a half octaves and participate in the traditional services once a month from September through June. Their music repetiore is diverse and makes use of multiple techniques. They practice every Tuesday at 6:30 PM.
USHERS
Our ushers are an essential part of our worship services. Greeting, handing out service folders, assisting with offering, and tidying up the sanctuary after services are in their scope of work.
ACOLYTES
Acolytes are typically in junior high and enrolled in our confirmation program. They assist in the services by lighting candles and extinguishing them, and helping at offering and communion.
ALTAR GUILD
The altar guild is responsible for setting up for and cleaning up after communion, changing out paraments, and all other responsibilities in relation to the altar for worship services.
LAY READERS
Lay readers are members of our church who read Old Testament and New Testament scriptures for our services. We even have opportunities for German readers at our German Christmas service each year.
