Heart & Soul Prayer Shawl Ministry
Do you know how to crochet? Do you knit? If you don’t, would you like to learn? Then come join us every 3rd Saturday of each month from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Social Hall as we create beautiful gifts of love.
The Heart & Soul Prayer Shawl Ministry’s mission is to offer a warm, soft, handmade shawls to those that are sick, lost, grieving, or just need a comforting hug.
Anyone interested in learning this craft and providing warmth and God’s love to their neighbor is encouraged to come and spend some time with us.

Operation Christmas Child
Each October, OSLC participates in Operation Christmas Child – an international outreach program for Samaritan’s Purse. We collect boxes with toys, school supplies, and toiletries following their guidelines and then take them to the collection site. They are then shipped to children all over the world in time for Christmas. These children not only receive the boxes, but they also hear the Good News about Jesus Christ.
Coat Give Away
On a Saturday in early November each year, OSLC partners with Dutchess Outreach to serve as a Coat Give Away location. We provide a hot lunch for our guests who look through an ample selection of coats and winter accessories for all ages.

Each month we support a different mission outreach through prayer and donations. The 2020 missions are:
